Women at Work Museum (WAWM) in Attleboro Massachusetts
On August 2, 2006, 3:30-4PM, at the Women at Work Museum (WAWM) in Attleboro Massachusetts, Mayor Kevin Dumas will issue a Resolution recognizing the rich contribution museums make to the Attleboro community. Also joining us will be Congressman James McGovern. Year of the Museum resolutions were passed by the US House of Representatives and the Senate and honored American museums, which include every type of institution from A (art) to Z (zoo) - from arboretums, botanical gardens, zoos, historic presidential homes to science centers and are children's museum. The Year of the Museum represents the beginning of a major national effort to encourage all Americans to experience, celebrate, and support the museums in their communities.
